    1. Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.

    1. Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools.

    1. Verify conformance of parts to stock lists or blueprints, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
