Hudson Valley Community College

Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) offers extensive training and certification in renewable energy and related trades, including offshore wind training programs like clean energy management and the Wind Energy Fundamentals microcredential. HVCC is a center for education in welding, fabrication, and assembly, equipping students with a unique blend of skills in these areas, enhanced by courses in CAD, metrology, and metallurgy. HVCC now offers a 1-year Welding Certificate program, and will be implementing program changes to expand their two year Welding and Fabrication Associate in Occupational Studies program in 2025, which develops students for a career in offshore wind.
