CUNY LaGuardia Community College

City University of New York (CUNY) LaGuardia Community College (LAGCC) currently offers educational degrees related to the offshore wind industry, covering disciplines such as engineering, biology, management, and science. Upcoming for 2025, LAGCC will offer two training programs, including a 195-hour hands-on electrical training program and 160-hour offshore wind technician program. The offshore wind technician program will be free and specifically for disadvantaged communities. LAGCC is also part of the CUNY offshore wind advisory network, a multi-school program providing participants the opportunity to explore offshore wind career titles and pathways, through interactive instructional seminars.
