The Electricians Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC)Buffalo Local Union (LU) #41 offers a mix of classroom instruction and paid, on-the-job training, equipping apprentices with the skills needed to pursue careers in the offshore wind industry. Apprentices gain expertise in wiring, power distribution, switchgear, and electrical safety systems – skills that are essential for the installation, operation, and maintenance, of offshore wind infrastructure. Graduates are well prepared for roles such as turbine electrical installation technicians, substation electricians,  commissioning technicians, and maintenance electricians, all of which are critical to the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind projects. The Electricians JATC Buffalo LU #41 is an active sponsor of New York State Department of Labor’s registered Inside Electrician apprenticeship program.
